The NSE option chain, with the order one click from the strike.
An option chain that only shows you numbers leaves you with the same problem you started with: you saw the build-up, and then you had to go somewhere else to act on it. On Ai4Trades the chain is a trading surface — the trigger system runs on it like it runs everywhere else.
What the chain shows
- Live NSE option chain across index and stock options, tick by tick.
- Open interest at every strike, and the change in open interest through the session.
- Build-up: long build-up, short build-up, long unwinding and short covering, read from price and open interest together.
- Participant-wise open interest — FII, DII, Pro and Client — across index futures, stock futures, index options and stock options.
- Alongside it: market breadth, sector and index performance, market movements, block and bulk deals, and a corporate-action and earnings calendar.
From reading it to acting on it
The gap that costs money is between noticing a build-up and having an order working. On Ai4Trades the same trigger system that runs on the chart and the watchlist runs here: set an entry trigger on the strike, attach a stop loss, set a trailing rule and a profit-booking ladder, and the orders go to your own broker when your conditions are met.
Charts for the same contract open with your levels drawn on them, up to four timeframes at once, and the levels are editable by dragging.
Open interest is evidence, not a signal
Open interest tells you how many contracts are outstanding, and the change in it tells you whether positions are being built or closed. Combined with price it suggests who is doing the building. It does not tell you what happens next, and interpretations of it are contested.
Nothing in the option chain, the build-up view or the participant-wise data on Ai4Trades is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything. We are a technology platform, not a research analyst or an investment adviser, and we publish no calls and no targets.
Before you trade options
Trading in equity derivatives carries a high risk of loss. SEBI studies of individual traders in the equity futures and options segment have found that a large majority of them incurred net losses. Options are leveraged, they lose time value as expiry approaches, and on expiry day illiquidity and fast movement can make an exit at anything near the last traded price impossible.

Questions
Is the option chain live?
Yes — tick-by-tick NSE data, with open interest and change in open interest updating through the session. Market data on the public website is for information only and may be delayed or restated by the exchange.
Can I place an order directly from the chain?
Yes. The trigger system runs on the option chain like it does on the chart, watchlist, screener, order book, positions and holdings, and orders are transmitted to the SEBI-registered broker whose account you connect.
Does it cover stock options as well as index options?
Yes — NSE and BSE coverage includes cash, MTF, futures, index options and stock options. Which of those you can trade depends on the segments your broker has enabled for your account.
What does build-up mean?
It is the reading of price and open interest together: rising price with rising open interest is described as long build-up, falling price with rising open interest as short build-up, and falling open interest as unwinding or covering. It is a description of positioning, not a prediction, and it is not a recommendation.
Do I pay for the market data?
No. Tick-by-tick NSE and BSE data, the option chain, participant-wise open interest, deals and the calendars are part of the platform, and there is no platform fee for core usage.
